Here's Where You Can Book an Igloo After Lockdown

Due to lockdown many of the usual Christmas events and activities are cancelled, so anything festive we can do or visit will be from 3rd December. There are igloos here in London all year round, but the festive season brings many more, and there is something extra special about them at this time of year.

Whether you want to enjoy a meal, play a game or 2, or just have some drinks with friends, we have rounded up the best ones we could find.

Aviary

The Aviary Rooftop Restaurant and Terrace Bar offers igloos with a view of London’s stunning skyline. The igloos are available for advanced bookings only from 3rd December through to 30th December. There are a range of drinks and dining packages you can purchase too.

Skylight

Skylight is well known for its igloos all year round but for this festive season they have added even more. Enjoy ski-trip-inspired food and drinks including mulled wine, buckets of beer and jugs of cocktails – what’s not to like?! You will enjoy table service throughout your visit in your cosy heated igloo.

Vintry and Mercer

The Mercer Roof Terrace Winter Igloos will also be open from 3rd December, there are 2 igloos and each can fit up to 6 people. Think candlelight and faux fur blankets keeping you warm and cosy. You will have your igloo for 2 hours and they are even available on Christmas Day as well as New Year’s Ever.

Pergola Paddington

Miracle on Kingdom Street at Pergola Paddington launches after lockdown on the 3rd December. Enjoy DJs, live music, festive menus, winter cocktails, hot toddies, mulled wine, spiced hot cider or even a chocolate fountain to share. There are many options apart from igloos at this winter wonderland including winter forest tables, alpine hall tables and winter chalets.

Coppa Club

The igloos at Coppa Club are decorated all year round but in wintertime they are decked out to match the festive spirit. You can book an igloos for 2 hours and order food from their breakfast, brunch or all-day menu depending on the time of your slot. If you don’t fancy eating that’s fine, you can enjoy drinks only including yummy cocktails and a selection of wines, beers and spirits. December and January igloo bookings are available from 25th November.

Jimmy’s Winter Snow Globes

Back for another year, Jimmy’s Winter Snow Globes are back on the Southbank. Enjoy drinks as well as a lush menu with starters, desserts and delicious sharing platters such as traditional alpine fondue, steak sharer and ultimate winter feast. If you don’t fancy an igloo check out the Alpine lodge restaurant.

Winterland at Neverland

You may know Neverland in Fulham for its summer beach, but they have transformed the space for the festive season into a winter themed paradise. The Alpine ski party lodge has a cocktail bar, gin bar, firepit, DJs, games and food including sourdough pizzas, gourmet burgers and mac'n'cheese.

Bar Elba

In true Bar Elba style, their igloos (party pods) come with bottomless drinks including Prosecco, beers and a selection of delicious cocktails. You can upgrade to include food (already included with Saturday bookings) and enjoy the Scandinavian rooftop vibe to the max.
