Floating Restaurant With Rooftop Dining

We can’t eat out right now but we can plan where we’re going to go as soon as this lockdown is over. One place we are missing is ‘Darcie & May Green’ a stunning floating restaurant and bar on the Grand Union Canal.


Bright and welcoming from the outside, inside the menus don’t disappoint either - we didn’t know we loved Australian cuisine so much until we ate here!

As is becoming the norm, the restaurant is safe and secure with rules in place to keep Covid at bay. Book ahead and you can then order by scanning the QR code with your phone.


You can order from the all-day menu that offers delights such as spicy tuna tostada, famous chicken parmigiana, fire roasted aubergine, halloumi fries as well as burgers, steaks, pizzas and more. But our favourite has to be the brunch menu, where you can order things like avocado on charcoal sourdough with creamy labneh and a bacon and banana bread sandwich.

Why not go all out and book a Bottomless Brunch, enjoy delicious food inspired from Melbourne and Sydney, washed down with unlimited fizz and mimosas for 100 minutes!


Hopefully when they reopen, it will be that time of the year and they will be back offering their all day festive lunch and dinner, the bottomless lunch then comes with a festive twist and they also put on cocktail parties.


The restaurant has a stunning rooftop deck where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of bubbles, a cocktail or a craft beer under the stars.
