Are All Hairdressers in London Crazy Expensive?

Okay, let's talk about it. Why are hairdressers so expensive in London?! Why are there different prices for different lengths? And why are blow-drys not included in haircut prices?
These above are all the reasons why every time I need a trim, I struggle to find a place that I like and I keep trying new ones. I also tend to try new salons when there is an offer for new clients, just to make the price a bit more bearable (especially if you just want to trim the tips!).
I have recently tried the TimeOut offer for Andrew Jose salon in Fitzrovia. £30 for a blow-dry and haircut is quite a good and acceptable price (at least where I'm from!). I really loved their service and professionalism.

Another offer I tried in the past is the 50% off haircuts for first time customers at Rush Salons. I managed to get a nice cut and blow-dry for just £25.
I found on Groupon only two salons in Central London that are rated 4+ stars:
Rebelcutz Hair Boutique: you can have a blow-dry and haircut for £24, or colour for £37
Rebelcutz Hair Boutique: they offer a Brazilian keratin treatment for £59, or you can add a cut and blow-dry for £10 extra
Renner Menezzes Brazilian Hairstylist: cut and blow-dry for £89, a bit pricey but according to the reviews seems worth the money!
Renner Menezzes Brazilian Hairstylist: hair lifting treatment for £59 and you can a cut for £10 more
You can find many more salons out of Central London here.
